Monday, went for Chingay Training. Learnt 3 'dances'. Fun... but quite silly. (Jo didn't go to school today. Had known only when I called her with a borrowed hp on the bus from a SRJC senior.)Tuesday, had lessons till 5pm. Tiring...Night did research for gp assignment(essay). Chatted with WW. Her teaher didn't allow her to quit school.(She had came to SRJC on Monday but SRJC say cannot allow her to transfer in.) Today, went for Media Club meeting. Having lunch with the members on 8th Feb, Sun. Meeting at PS entrance to NEL at 1pm. After meeting went for Chingay Training. Re-learnt the dances-Saturday Night Fever and Ketchup dance. Got briefed on the preview and actual parade. Ended only at 6pm.

Now in school, having free period as I'm not taking Economics. So now in library using computer. Yesterday lost alot then won back in blackjack. So now, in total lost $23. Sad sad...
Had went to Na Na Yee's place for lunch then to my godparents' house to play blackjack. Then off to my dad's friend's house at Potong Pasir(?!). Home, played cards after bath.

Just played gunbound with Shawn, the guy from Zeal 2 who's in my class, 1S04, now. The first guy friend I made in SRJC. I won him...he has a rank higher than mine. His is silver axe while mine is stone axe. I won him only by a little... :) But happy...added him, Jialing and HW in my friendster account and helped him write testimonial...

Wednesday, was late for duty as I had eaten my medicine the night before and had forgotten to set my alarm. Quite fun actually...the performance was quite a bore...Went back to XMS. Saw most of the teachers, Mrs Fong, Mrs Teo, Ms Koh, Ms Ong, Mr Chee. WW came late. SH never go...

Thursday, first day of CNY, went grand's. Then to two other places then my house. Played cards. Lost quite a few dollars.
Friday, stayed home. Night played cards. Together, cum yesterday's, lost $28.50. Sad sad...
Saturday, went Mrs Fong's house. Played cards. WW and I shared the money we won. $8.50 altogether...I today on lucky strike. Won quite alot. Even Kar Gae also kept topping up the money to me quite a few times of which I won most. :) Shu Wen, Candy, also asked me to sit beside her once to give her luck. LOLx...Mrs Fong gave each of us, two classes, $5 each!!! Woah....that's alot....

Forgot to add something. On Wed, when I was walking to the interchange with SH, we met Ms Winnie Koh! Chatted with her...*SIGH* Missed life in XMS 4E1'03.
Sat, went for my first AVA meeting with Kel and SH. Like very fun. But, only 7 out of 23 J1s turned up. The 3 of us and 4 more guys. Having first task tomorrow for the morning assembly. Looking forward to it. Got to get to school by 7am.
Mon, lessons till 3pm. Decided with SH that we want to change classes. Haven't looked for Mr Ong yet. Was late for dental appointment. Went in only at 4pm instead of the actual time, 3.30pm. No choice. It was raining and I didn't bring my umbrella. Then had to run to the bus-stop in the heavy rain. Went to the doctor's at night. Had cough, blocked nose, ...
Today, lessons till 4pm. Actually should be 5pm but cos there was an event at Orchard which all Chingay Motivators had to go to, we were let off earlier. (Chemistry period, Mr Chong and Peiling played the piano in LT2 for us...very nice! During CT period, decided to have a bbq on 2nd Feb, I think, cos one of our classmate will be going to Australia soon. Took a 'class photo' with Joanna's camera.) However I didn't go and neither did Kel and SH. SH had been let off at 2pm, I think. Then Kel and I went walking around in Hrtld mall after dismissal. Then I went to PS to meet my sis. She was 25minutes late. Collected her jeans. Had dinner at Yoshinoya. Shopped around. Took a card photo. She paid for dinner and the card photo. Home sweet home...
Going back to XMS tomorrow to see teachers. Then going to Mrs Fong's house on Sat...

Tuesday, went CP with Kel, Jo and SH. Jo had wanted to buy presents for her cousins' birthday this coming saturday. Ate hokkien mee. Too salty already. Shopped. After Kel and SH went off, waited for Desmond with Jo. He was very late. He had said hello to me but I hadn't noticed so he thought I was being 'dao'. Sorry, Desmond. I was just so engrossed in the article about 5566 in the You Weekly that I hadn't noticed. Sorry. Went to wait for bus. Saw Yan Shan, Chee Kean and Teck Wee who are now from MJC.
Wednesday, went Hougang Mall with Kel and SH. Went library. Shopped. Ate ice-cream. Bought a Mashi Maro postcard for Ling.
Thursday, tennis try-out. Kel and SH backed out...:( Was fun...SH and Kel played but without giving their names. Went Hougang Mall. Went library. Kel went off as she had to go to the hospital to see her grandmother. Posted a letter to Ling along with the poatcard, a photo, 2 bookmarks, a hand-made bracelet from SH, WW and me.
Friday, today, I went Heartland Mall, EPB and Popular to buy things. When I got to the ground floor and got out of the lift, I saw HuiTing, Yun Yun and some guys(Jeremy Lim, Edmund and don't know who else) going through the main entrance into Heartland Mall. They didn't see me.
Tomorrow having AVA club meeting at 1.30pm. Morning, going library at CP. Meeting SH and Kel at 11am.

Wah...today got 5 lessons...chinese, math c, chemistry, gp and biology. Very tiring....still got homework somemore...haiz...
Went EPB just now then to lunch at hawker centre with SH and Kel. Saw 1 of my OGL, Mei Hui. Smiled at her and she smiled back. After awhile, as she passed by behind me, ahe laid a hand on my back and said goodbye. Replied goodbye.
Home sweet home. Now researching for biology homework.
Just called Sharon from Zeal 2 to tell her I can't go for the bbq on Sat. She had called me yesterday. Seems that the whole Zeal is having the bbq. Jo not going cos she has another bbq on.

Then, at EPB, when I was reading The New Paper, I noticed JX waving to me. Said hello. Told him that I would pass the photos to him via WW.
Bought alot of things...and totalling up to much less than we expected. It's cos EPB is closing down on the 18th. So, now everything is cheap. I bought two computer related books and only spent $8 for these two books.

Chinese Test

Went for Chingay Parade Motivator meeting yesterday. Very fun. Played 3 games. Bingo(collection of signatures), Dollars & cents, and, Scavanger hunt(forgot to mention that we played this on the 3rd day of orientation).
Very fun. Around 257 JC1s turned up.
Went lunch with Kel and SH at BK at Hrtld Mall. Went EPB. Things sold at a very low price. Home.
Night. Went to the Mini Chinatown at Hougang Ave 1. Not that fantastic. Went to look at plants. Bought a pot of red roses and one of oranges.

Whoa...better write while this is still fresh in my head. Went into GB. Played a total of 4 games(all along with datsunking and spec2;1st game 3vs1, 2nd-4th game 4vs4). Won all!
Won the 1st as we had more players. Won the 2nd and 3rd cos I had, by luck, killed another opponent when the SCORE for each group became 1. The last game, datsunking killed another opponent in the same situation as the 2nd and 3rd game. Whoa...very exciting games. Thought our group was going to lose...but, at the last second, we WON! We made a great team. Won 4 times in a row. Got to team up with them again. Now, I've got their nicks in my BUDDY list. Datsunking is 23, male, chinese, S'porean. He thinks that SRJC is a good JC. :)

Second day of orientation. Saw dances by fellow freshmen and the OGLs(ideas thought up on the spot) cos all our houses were being 'punished' for having 'lost' the plycards tp the SCs. My group, Zeal 2 didn't lose it...:)We very careful one...:P LOLx...
My house, Zeal's dance was so good that they were asked to put up another performance.
Talks by English, Chinese and PE HODs. Break(10min). Learnt cheers. Learnt a dance, the 'College Dance'. Very fun. Luckily there were more gals, so, my partner was a gal, Yi/Ying(3) Ting(2). Very funny. We totally messed up our dance steps, my being the 'guy'.
Had lunch, fish and chips in school. Not that fantastic.
Went Bishan Junction 8 with SH and Jo. Shopped. Home sweet home.
Jo very depressed. Haiz...I can do nothing and say nothing that would make her feel better. Only the person who caused her to be like that can do things or say things that would make things better. Can you do it?

*SIGH* Today is the 4th and last day of SRJC orientation 2004. Yesterday, let off at almost 5.30pm. Had learnt a new dance(Mass Dance) to Boa's No.1. Halfway through only. Learnt new cheers. Had interaction time with 2 teachers and OGLS to give suggestions and opinions to them about the orientation programme. (The dance was taught at such a fast pace that I couldn't catch up.) Learnt school song.
Night, called WW. She lost her voice so had to whisper. Mum changed hp with dad so SMS-ed some people to inform them of this. SJ and HW SMS-ed back. Chatted with them. SJ in NYJC. Talked to him about the orientation. He said it was boring. (Stella and Kun Jian in NYJC) Wow...long time never SMS SJ already. Now remember why last time like SMS-ing him. He's fun to chat with. Very good listener too.
Today is more fun!(Played H2O game - Zeal 1,2,3 and 4.) OG session, learnt campfire songs. Finished learning Mass Dance. Guess who appeared as Yue Lian and I were trying our best to learn the steps and taught us?! Woan Ling!!! Ex-choir member(XMS, soprano). She's a SC. :P Took long time to remember who she was. Danced the whole song quite a few times.
Played Wacko(Zeal2)then 'Blow wind blow'(had named wrongly in one of the previous entry). Was forfeited(3 times last one left standing in 'BWB') along with Eddie(2 times?! last left standing in 'BWB' and once for Wacko). Had to dance the cha-cha part of the College Dance with him. Told OGLs that I didn't know the gals' steps as I had previously danced the guys'. 2 freshmen demonstrated. Danced with Eddie. Very embarrasing...
Know class and course - 1S04 and 605C. SH is in 1S05, Kel in 1S08, Jo in 1S03. Only know Kelvin who will be in my class again this year.
Chose CCA. Tennis, Media club and AVA club. Very mad right? 3 CCAs. Well, had wanted tennis then accompany Kel for the other 2.
Played station games. Cheered. Fun. Drenched. Dirty. Itchy.
1st - Got a 'mokey' who try to steal seat. Got to protect by moving around the circle formed by the chairs(enough to allow all and 'monkey' to sit) by sitting on the chairs. If 'monkey' sit, person beside chair becomes 'monkey'. Easy right? No! Very disgusting! They put water and flour on the chair. Shorts became wet and white. Flour cum water drip down leg. Argh...disgusting!
2nd - Vs Vigor2. Passing of plastic bag filled with water by using shirt end to bounce then next person try to catch with shirt. Get bag to end of line of about 30 people. But, hard part was, we had to stand 2 arms length apart. That's pretty tough. Lost this game.
3rd - Vs Vigor2. 'Scissors paper stone'. Row of chairs. Player move, sitting on each chair to move towards middle. Meet opponent, play 'SPS'. Winner get to move on while new opponent move towards middle. Disgusting. Same asfirst game, chair got water and flour. Won this!
4th - Blind-folded, join hands. Move through obstacle course. Worse part was moving forward, whole body flat on the grass. Legs very itchy.
5th - Maze. Single person blind-folded. Move around maze to find cups of water to pour into a bottle while other members guide him/her along.
6th - Vs Vigor2. 2V2, in squares like those of a chessboard. Jump about squares. If opponent stands vertically or horizontally to person calling out '1,2,3,jump', opponent is out of the game. It's a tie for this game.
Back to hall. Dinner. Changed. Campfire. Cheers. Performances by Peer leaders(freshmen) of each house. Nice. Friendship dance. No partner. Partner had found another partner. So, asked a SC to dance. After the female SC, danced with 3 male teachers, one of who is a caucasion. Did the side-side-side-front-back dance.
Performance by a life band. Started ChiHuaHua but no place to continue. Performance by band, playing exotic instruments, along with a person swinging 2 things set on fire. Nice. Danced disco(for one song, the second last song). Cheers for everyone.
Gave out prize to house with most points. Gasto - only remember is Chin Pei, Jeremy, Hui Ting and Edmund's house.

Chingay parade talk. Principal's talk. Free period. Went library with SH and Kel. Saw and talked to Yue Lian. Then quite awhile later, Woan Ling came in. Seemed that she had lessons till 5 plus. Very chiam, don't you think so?!
Aiyah...forgot to ask her for her particulars. Nevermind. Will have chance de...
Went home. Shared lunch with sis. She made crepes and I had bought a packet of rice. Played alittle of GB (for her).
Bathe. Was to meet Kel and SH at CP. Jo found that her wallet was at Seng Kang bus interchange. Went with her. Met up with SH and Kel, after collecting the wallet, when they arrived. Bought Fruits Basket book 8. Met up with Chin Pei at library. Borrowed 4 Nancy Drew on Campus books(#4 to #7). Drank hot horlick. Went Popular. Jo bought bread from Bread Talk. She hadn't had lunch. Home sweet home.

What will you do and how will you feel if your best friend hooked up with one of your other friend and kept it a secret for almost a year? How will you feel if this isn't the first time your best friend kept this type of thing a secret from you?
My sis asked me this yesterday. I didn't know and still don't. It didn't actually happened to me before. Well, actually a sort-of the same thing happened before. The W-P matter. But it doesn't actually count as W and I had kept something from each other, as some of you may know, so we weren't angry at each other.

Just now, when I said 1-2 gals other than those named danced in the last danced, I was mistaken. The only one un-named was Kok Hong. Sorry. In that dance, Ker Wei stood to my left while WW stood to my right. Gosh. I was really sweating alot along with all the other people then. Eek...don't you think?! :P
I started with 2 light-sticks. Had taken one then JX passed me another one. Then at the Downtown East, Kelvin(?!) passed me one belonging to Kok Hong. WW lost her only one so I gave her one. WW lost that one and got one from SJ(?!). SH lost hers so I gave her one of my remaining two. Then she lost it too. Then someone(one of the few guys who danced the last dance) gave me two at Cheers where we bought drinks before heading back to the chalet. Now I've got 3 again.
Awhile after I washed up, I sat in the living room reading a storybook as they played 2Be3 songs(Excuse my french then Even If then other songs). Teck Wee and Amy 'suan' me, or is it mock(?!), for reading before scool re-opened. Jokingly only.
Oh yeah, even though I didn't get to see JX's future gf, I saw her neoprint, twice, in JX's wallet. She's very pretty, this S.P. who was from a different Sec Sch. Same Pri Sch as JX.

After the bbq, we (MQ, SH, WW, Milene and me) went back to our room(0210) but the door was locked. So, WW and MQ climbed out of the window of the other room(0209), walked on the space outside to our room, and let us in.
When we played cards the first time, SH and Kar Gea(KG) sat aside to look.
We had walked through the park on our way to Downtown East. As the distance between the people in front and those behind was great (all from my class, 4E1'03 XMS, plus Desmond???!!! And Kaini's bf), those of us at the back started running to catch up. (Kaini was taller than her bf, who was in the army??? Someone told me that he was in the army.)
While playing the funny ribbons and snow spray, some of the latter(soap foan) went into my eyes which became red. Lucky I wasn't wearing contacts.
It was only the SMS before the 2 I sent to HW that I knew it was him who SMS-ed WW. So, my being irritated is NOT cos he didn't say Happy New Year to me(as he had SMS-ed saying).
MQ was a great dancer. Yun Hui, You Cai and even WS were quite good at dancing too.
When we(WW, SH and I) returned to take my chocolates, Teck Wee was surprised(met at the road outside the building). His mouth had hung open. LOLx...

Got up late. Spent lots of time putting on contacts. Met Jo late. Met Kel and SH late. Linda, Chin Pei, Yue Lian, Trisha, Vanessa, Kelvin Tan, Jeremy Lim, Edmund, Hui Ting(HW's friend), Mei Hui, Vanessa, and Joshua in SRJC. :( No one from Xinghua Pri(whom I knew).
Orientation group was Zeal II. Not very fun for today. Talks from HODs and a few games - 'wind blow', the 'name game' and 'murderer(squeezing of hands) - only. Boring! Let off at 1pm. Went Cheng San library to return books. Went Meridien JC to accompany Kel go take things and return things. From notice board, found that Joseph Pok Rong Mian, Chew Wei Le(CWL) and Rebecca Hum Wan Siew(from my pri 5 and 6 class), and, Teck Wee and Yan Shan went to MJC.
Went White Sands. Ate Jap set(pork chop meal) and fried kway teow, sharing with Kel. Went Pasir Ris library. Borrowed 2 books - Postcards from wits end(Sarah Harvey) and Animal Rage(Smallville).

Got home at around 8.15am. Had our class bbq yesterday. Afternoon went to EPB at Htld Mall for refund for my card. Went to meet Jo at bus-stop in front of Hougang Plaza. Was very early. Saw En Wei. Went Hougang Mall to shop. Went to meet Jo. Went back to Hougang Mall as Jo had to collect her bag. Transferred all the things over to the bag from the plastic bag Jo was carrying.
Took 89 to Pasir Ris interchange. Was early. Went to buy an ice-cream cone from Mac. Jo had a free McFlurry. Went to meet the other people at the interchange. Saw only Meiqin. Milene arrived soon after. MQ gave me a box of chocolates(Mint leaves). WW and SH were late. Took 403 to the chalet. Said hello to the others then went to put our bag. Went cycling(WW and I). SH tried for awhile. That was from 7-8pm.
Went back for bbq. Had great fun bbq-ing with Chee Kean, Amy, You Cai,...
Saw Kaini's bf. Heard that JX's gf had went the day before. But JX said that she was just a friend(still woo-ing?) and she had gone with her friend. Heard and noticed that Teck Wee was with Yan Shan. You Cai confirm with Yun Hui. Heard that Huiqi confirm with SL.
After bbq, played Da Lao Er with MQ, Milene, WW and soon after, GA and Andreas. Changed into class t-shirt.
Went through park(there were alot of stars in the sky) to go to downtown east for the countdown after wearing 2 light sticks as 'bracelets'(Got from JX). Some people wore as 'necklace'. Walked there. Gathered at the carpark. Went into the tent. Danced ChiHuaHua. Danced around. Countdown. Happy New Year. Balloons, paper grafitti, and Funny Ribbons. Danced till 4am but had breaks(small ones and water breaks) in between. First water break, went Cheers. Bought drinks. Played with Funny Ribbons then Snow Spray. Went back to dance. Second water break. Went to Cheers again to buy drinks. Sat at grassland outside tent. Talked to JX(hadn't seen him since getting the light sticks from him). He said he did dance. Went back to sit with WW. :( WW had asked me to keep her hp then SOMEONE(HW) kept SMS-ing so I had to stop each time even while dancing to pass to WW. Irritated??? Don't know. Maybe. Returned to dance. Didn't see JX so went out and convinced JX and WS to dance. WW and SH came out after me. But they went in soon after. Went in with JX and WS. Couldn't find those from my class who were dancing. Danced beside WS. JX stood on his right. JX 'disappeared' quite a few times on purpose. Then don't know why, keep changing positions. Jx didn't dance much. WS on the other hand danced quite alot. Third water break. Back to Cheers. JX loan me $1.40 for a bottle of 100PLUS(1st-from Jo for a bottle of Mineral water; 2nd-from Ker Wei for a bottle of mineral water shared with WW and SH) as I had left my wallet in the chalet. JX and WS went back chalet. WW and SH came for me and we continued dancing till 4am. Last dance, we swayed from side to side in a circle-YunHui, WW, SH, me, KerWei, Kevin, Kelvin, Amy, Meiqin, YouCai, and 1 or 2 more gals...forgot who. There had been at least 3 almost-fights. The first fight involved one of the two guys who danced with SH. Scared WW and me.
Went back chalet. Walked back through the park. Was very dark so WW held my hand. Ate see-weed and sweets and chocolates. Played Da Lao Er with WW, CK, MQ and Milene. Cleaned up (ourselves). They(YouCai, YunHui, CK and MQ) played Mahjong. Went beach with SH and WW at 6.05am(?!) to await the sun-rise. Saw JX and WS there. They were looking the wrong way. Sat down while SH and WW went to the break-water. Went there soon after. WS and JX followed but not all the way cos they were very cold due to being out the whole night...no...morning. Sang songs with WW. Saw sun-rise...but blocked by clouds and trees. Went back to chalet to take my chocolate. WS and JX were not where I last saw them. Went home.
Yesterday and this morning was the first time I really danced(anyhow actually). Prom night I hadn't danced much. I really enjoyed it as the songs were fast and we just danced whatever we want. Then we could danced as a group. Fun fun fun...but now leg pain. Imagine, cycling for an hour, standing up for whole bbq and dancing for almost 4 hours. Wouldn't your legs ache??? But still very happy.
